New Kind of F1 Race?

Was on my way to Geylang Serai and encountered a traffic jam due to these two vehicles. LOL. I don't even know what they are! But they look pretty happy travelling at low speed on our roads...

Haven't been updating this blog lately. I've been busy and now a little sick. but but but! I've just gotten my new Olympus EPL-1 camera!! will start exploring Singapore again soon and make good use of the camera! *grinz

Sometimes I Worry for the Birds

I recall that birds in Singapore used to be more nervous and alert to danger. When I was younger. they would fly away when I am not even 2 metres close. But nowadays, I notice cars speeding towards these birds and they would still be walking leisurely in their head-out-head-in bird motion in the middle of the road. Then, just before the car crushes them, they would calmly and suavely take a hop to the side and the car would just miss it by like 20cm. Is it my imagination that birds have evolved? Or was it that I was more dangerous than a car when I was younger.

Old Transitlink Card Machine

In a bout of nostalgia, I decided to take a picture of the old transit-link card machine before it fades away into history.

Morning Bus View

(Front view: morning pedestrians through perforated decal on glass)
It was 7 a.m. on friday. I was seated in the right front seat on the upper deck of the bus. As I looked out, I realised that my view of my surrounding was filtered by the effects on the windows. Outside, it was grey and cloudy in general but the warm rays of the sun were breaking that up from behind our trees and tall buildings.

Effect created by freezing cold air-conditioning.

Unique views only from the upper deck of a bus.

Singapore school zone characteristic scene in the morning.

Besides being unable to wake up, I like mornings:) The sun is rising, people are travelling to work and perhaps something exciting is about to happen. There's a feeling of hope in the mornings.
